YLC 2011
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
(1 Peter 2:9)
“Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”
(Exodus 19:5,6)
UBF is now celebrating its 50th Anniversary of world campus mission and it is our thanksgiving topic that we are able to review our five representative spirits and five areas of ministry.
UBF, at its 50th Anniversary, is at its historical and a critical point of succession. In other words, it is time for us to look ahead and prepare for the ministry 50 and 100 years ahead of us. It is God’s leading for us to come to have an awareness in this issue; how can we empower UBF’s Next Generation and develop their spirituality and not only this, but raise them as future leaders of the ministry and global leaders of this generation?
“Awakening the lay” has been an important direction and a philosophy of our ministry and now, we take on an even more important prayer topic, “Awakening the Next Generation,” which will determine the course of the next 50 years of the UBF ministries. May God help us see his vision for the next 50 years of UBF ministry through the UBF’s 50th Anniversary Missionary Seminar.
