Singspiration
1 Chronicles 13:8: “David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, cymbals and trumpets.”
You are cordially invited to praise God with us at “singspiration”!
“Singspiration” comes from the English language and consists of two words: “sing” and “inspiration”. This means practically: We sing and the Holy Spirit inspires us.
Singspiration is a form of “Worship and Praise” that many Christians practice worldwide. They follow the example of King David, who was not ashamed, to dance with all his power before God with songs, harps, psalters, tambourines, cymbals and trumphets, when they brought the ark of Lord to Jerusalem.
Singspiration is more than the expression of our emotions. We want to praise God with our hearts, with our mind, with our hands and our feet, with our instruments and our voice. Singspiration is not an end in itself for us. It serves at the worship service to prepare and open the hearts of all attendants in order to hear and accept God’s word.
