We thank and praise God for blessing our 2009 Bonn, Mainz and Rhein-Sieg UBF’s united Christmas worship service. The title of the Christmas message was “Immanuel.” Shepherd Peter Schweitzer delivered a heart-moving Christmas message, reminding us the Immanuel grace of Jesus. We worshiped Jesus, who came to this world as a humble baby in a manager, through our 2009 Christmas worship service, drama and worship program and God blessed us to restore our deep love relationship with our Lord. Especially, we could bring our Christmas offering for the construction work of Bethesda Mission Clinic in Uganda.

Looking back the ministry in 2009, many sins and flaws are brought to our minds. However Immanuel Jesus was with us in Germany and Europe UBF and richly blessed the 2009 UBF International European Bible Conference to celebrate the 40th anniversary of European ministry. We are very thankful for Dr. John Jun and mission co-workers, who travelled more than 4 times to serve the European mission. Through this international conference, God has revealed his hope for each European nation, raising our New Generation as a spiritual leader for the campus mission in Europe. We pray that God may use Germany as a shepherd nation and Europe as a missionary sending continent once again. We thank and praise God for using Europe UBF preciously for spiritual awakening and revival of Europe.

Along with our mission co-workers, many campus students attended our 2009 united Christmas worship service. About 200 attendants including relatives of co-workers and 2nd generation worshiped Baby Jesus, our
Immanuel. We thank God for blessing our one-to-one Bible study ministry in this year 2009. God has also accepted and blessed our mission co-worker and 2nd generation’s early morning prayer for Germany and
Europe. God has used M. Samuel Peter Ryu’s house church to actively serve the campus ministry in Mainz. God has also raised up 4 sacrificial messengers in Bonn UBF and New Generation co-workers as spiritual co-workers for European mission.
