Prof. John H. Armstrong: “UBF presses forward seeking to make disciples of all nations”

Prof. John H. Armstrong, President of ACT 3, Professor of Evangelism at Wheaton College Graduate School

Before God graciously introduced me to the work of UBF, through a student of mine at the Wheaton College Graduate School (Illinois), I knew almost nothing of the history and mission of this excellent ministry. Through personal friendships, friendships that have brought great blessing to me and the ministry I lead (ACT 3), I have come to see the deep passion for the kingdom of God that uniquely marks this wonderful work of Christ.

While many American missions are losing their focus UBF presses forward seeking to make disciples of all nations. Their clarity regarding on the kingdom, and their emphasis on every Christian being engaged in mission, is profoundly needed. This is a major reason for my gratitude for UBF. I believe that God has placed UBF in the forefront of growing ministries that will be used to stir his people into deeper obedience to Christ. I am grateful to learn more of the history of UBF and long to see your work in Europe spread into many spiritually dark places where the gospel once impacted an entire culture centuries ago. May God increase the vision of UBF and thereby may your witness a vital part of the recovery of spiritual vision so needed in our generation.
